OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: - Correctly repeat the sounds of the letters h and b in isolation, in the words hello and bye, and in the sentences Hello, Ben. and Bye, Ben. with the correct pronunciation and intonation. - Listen and circle the correct answers about greeting each other and saying goodbye. - Read the chant with the correct rhythm and pronunciation. 1. Knowledge/ Language focus: - Phonic: Sound /b/, /h/ - Vocabulary: review - Sentence patterns:review 2. Skills: - Listening and speaking. 3. Quality /Attitude: Actively participate in activities with their classmates in pairs, groups or class. Educate Ss about greeting each other and saying goodbye. Teacher’s activities Students’ activities 1.Warm- up: 5’ Game: Throw the ball. *Aims: to help ss to review the old lesson and be happy to learn new lesson. *Teaching techniques: -techniques in teaching playing game. *Procedure: - Divide the class into 2 teams. -SS play game. - Stick the pictures of activities on the board. Teacher says a word, a pupil from each team has to point/throw the ball to the right picture and says the word three times.
