OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: - Listen and tick the correct answers about making suggestions to go somewhere and respond - Read to complete two gapped exchanges with the help of picture cues about making suggestions to go somewhere and respond and the weather. - Play game: slap the board and say 1. Quality /Attitude: -Actively participate in activities with their classmates in pairs, groups or class. Get them to identify the characters. -Look at the picture and identify. - Have Ss look at the four incomplete sentences and guess the missing word. Then

Activity 3. - 6. Let’s play :7’ *Aims: to revise the target vocabulary items and structures by playing Slap the board game. *Context: A picture of a classroom. There are five flashcards on the board: pictures of a bookshop, a water park, a swimming pool, a bakery and a supermarket. The teacher is standing nearby and saying: I want to go to the bookshop. A boy is running to the board and slapping the picture of a bookshop. *Teaching techniques - techniques in playing game - individual, groupworks, using recording, pictures *Procedure: -Ss look and listen.
  5. - Tell Ss the goal of the game and how to play it. Set time for Ss to play the game. - Put five flashcards or write the names of five places on the board. Divide the class into four teams. Ask one representative of each team to come to the front. - Say, for example I want to go to the bookshop. The student who is the quickest to -Ss play game. slap the correct picture / word gets one point for his / her team. Repeat the same procedure with the other pictures / words on the board. - The team that gets the most points at the end of the game wins. *Outcome: Ss can revise the target vocabulary items and structures by playing Slap the board game. 3. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: - Correctly pronounce the two-syllable words 'sunny and 'rainy with the stress on the first syllable in isolation and in the sentences It’s 'sunny today. and I don’t like 'rainy weather. with the correct pronunciation and intonation. - Listen and circle the correct answers to identify the target words sunny and rainy while listening. - Read the chant with the correct rhythm and pronunciation.
