  1. WEEK : 35 Teaching date :Monday, May 13th 2024. REVIEW 4 Activity 1, 2 I. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: - Correctly use the words and sentence patterns from Unit 16 to Unit 20 - Listen to and understand five communicative contexts in which characters talk about familiar topics such as weather, directions, items price, animals and camp activities and tick the correct pictures. - Ask and answer using picture cues or personal information. 1. Knowledge/ Language focus: - Vocabulary: review - Sentence patterns: review 2. Skills: - Listening and speaking 3. Quality /Attitude: Actively participate in activities with their classmates in pairs, groups or class. Educate Ss to show pride in what they have learnt and love learning English. Kindness: help partners to complete learning tasks Diligence: complete learning tasks 4. Competences: SS can develop some competences: Decision making, teamwork, work standards, motivation, problem-solving. Self- control & independent learning: perform listening tasks Communication and collaboration: work in pairs or groups Oral Communication: let’s talk. II. TEACHING AIDS / MATERIALS: - Pictures, textbook, computer, projector, flashcards, recording III. METHODS: - Communicative language teaching, contextual teaching and learning, total physical response, games activities teaching, Model-Action-Talk, teaching methods by visual, direction method, audiolingual method.

PROCEDURE: Teacher’s activities Students’ activities 1.Warm- up: 5’ Game: Choose and throw *Aims: to help ss to be happy to learn new lesson. *Teaching techniques - techniques in teaching playing game. *Procedure: – Divide class into 2 teams. -SS listen and play game - Call 1 student from each team to come to the board and throw a sticky ball at the answer. - Teacher marks the place where they throw it. - Teacher reveals the score for the correct answer. - Say “Open your book page 70 and look at activity 1, 2” 2. Get the class to read it in chorus. Elicit the answer and give feedback. Then get pupils to role- play the exchange. Repeat the same procedure with the rest of the questions. -Look at the picture and answer - Give Ss time to take it in turns to role-play the four exchanges. Go around the classroom to offer support where necessary. - Invite a few pairs of Ss to stand up and take it in turns to role-play the target exchanges. -Ss do the task. *Outcome: Ss can ask and answer questions using picture cues or personal information. 3. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: - Read and match five pairs of target sentence patterns. - Read a gapped letter on familiar topics and show understanding of it by choosing the correct words to fill the gaps. - Use the target language to complete a gapped letter about summer camp 1. Knowledge/ Language focus: - Vocabulary: review - Sentence patterns: review 2. Skills: - Reading and writing. 3. Quality /Attitude: Actively participate in activities with their classmates in pairs, groups or class. Educate Ss to ask and answer questions had learned. Diligence: complete learning tasks 4. Competences: SS can develop some competences: Decision making, teamwork, work standards, motivation, problem-solving. Check comprehension. -Look at the picture and identify. - Do Sentence 1 as an example. Point at the first sentence and read aloud as a class. Elicit the missing word and give feedback. Complete the sentence and get Ss to read the completed sentence in chorus. - Set a time limit for Ss to do the task independently.
