- WEEK :33 Teaching date :Thursday, May 02th 2024 UNIT 19: OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES Lesson 3- Activity 4, 5, 6 I. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: - read a passage and answer the questions about what someone is doing outdoors. - complete a paragraph about what a student and his/her friend are doing outdoors. - trace and colour the friends, then tell the class where they are and what they are doing. 1. Knowledge/ Language focus: - Vocabulary: review - Sentence patterns: review 2. Skills: - Listening, writing and reading 3. Quality /Attitude: Actively participate in activities with their classmates in pairs, groups or class. Educate Ss about what someone is doing outdoors.. Kindness: help partners to complete learning tasks Diligence: complete learning tasks Honesty: tell the truth about feelings and emotions Responsibility: appreciate kindness Leadership: collaborate with teachers to enhance language skills 4. Competences: SS can develop some competences: -Comunicative and collaborative competence:work in pairs/groups, role play, motivation, adaptability Critical Thinking: about what someone is doing outdoors.. Written Communication: Complete the sentence Self-control & independent learning: Perform writing tasks Sociability:ask and answer about what someone is doing outdoor, say good words to others. II. TEACHING AIDS / MATERIALS: - Pictures, textbook, computer, projector, flashcards, recording

IV. Let’s write :9’ *Aims: to complete a paragraph about what a student and his / her friend are doing outdoors. *Context: Lucy and Nam are my friends. They like ____________. Lucy is _____________. Nam is ____________. I like ___________. I’m ____________. What are you doing? *Teaching techniques: - techniques in teaching writing -individual, pairworks, pictures
- *Procedure: -Aks ss to look at the book and tell them how do to the activity. -Look at the picture and identify. -Elicit the context and the given words and give feedback. -SS look and answer. - Give Ss time to do the task. Activity 3. - 6. Project :7’ *Aims: to trace and colour the friends, then tell the class where they are and what they are doing. *Context: A general picture *Teaching techniques - techniques in teaching base on project. - individual, groupworks, using recording, pictures *Procedure: -Have Ss work in groups. -Ss look and listen.
- - Model by saying: Look at this boy. He is Bill. I’ll trace and colour him. Then trace and colour the character (Bill) in different colours. Finally, describe the character. For example: Look! Teaching date :Friday, May 03th 2024 UNIT 20: AT THE ZOO Lesson 1- Activity 1, 2, 3 I. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
- - Correctly pronounce the sounds of the letter a in isolation, in the words parrot and dancing and in the sentences I can see a parrot. and The peacock is dancing. - Use the words tiger, monkey, elephant, horse, peacock, parrot in relation to the topic “At the zoo”. 1. Knowledge/ Language focus: - Vocabulary: zoo, tiger, horse, peacock, monkey - Sentence patterns: What can you see? –> I can see 2. Skills: - Listening and speaking. 3. Knowledge/ Language focus: - Vocabulary: review - Sentence patterns: review 2. Skills: - Listening, writing and reading 3. Quality /Attitude: Actively participate in activities with their classmates in pairs, groups or class. Educate Ss to ask and answer questions about what animals someone can see at the zoo. Kindness: help partners to complete learning tasks Diligence: complete learning tasks Honesty: tell the truth about feelings and emotions Responsibility: appreciate kindness Leadership: collaborate with teachers to enhance language skills 4.
